Dorothy was born in 1926. She was the daughter of Octave LeBegue and Minnie Zobrist. She passed away in 2007.

Dorothy Lebegue Mick, age 80, of Sorento, died at 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, at her residence.

She was born on March 27, 1926, in Highland, the daughter of the late Octave and Minnie Zobrist Lebegue.

She married Vernon Mick on Oct. 1, 1946, in Collinsville. He preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 2006.

She is survived by a son: Jeff Mick and wife, Donna of Edwardsville; brothers: Herman Lebegue and wife, Monetta of Cottage Hills, and Lester Lebegue and wife, Janet of Medora; a sister: Aneda Rutz of Highland; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother: Harlan Lebegue; and a sister: Ordella Rutz.

Mrs. Mick was a member of Highland Community Church.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at Perfetti FUneral Home in Sorento.

Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22, at the funeral home with Rev. Elmer Fenton officiating.

Interment will be at Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento.
