After Dan and John were grown, Jean and Harold moved to Atchison for a short period of time where Jean worked at the local hospital in the dietary department before retiring.
Harold and Jean were married for almost 62 years before Harold's passing in October 2012. Jean is preceded in death by her husband Harold, her parents Alice and Byron Lawrence, and long-time beloved pet cats Teetle and Peanuts.
