Biography

Elizabeth was the daughter of Joseph Lane and Ann Rider. She was baptised 29 July 1832 at Southwark, Surrey.

She married William Elijah King on 5 December 1852 at Allhallows, Barking, London.

Elizabeth and William emigrated to Australia before 1861. They were living in Sandridge at the time their daughter Emily Trin King was born.

Death Notice

KING. -- On the 29th August at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Durham, No. 1 Gibbs-street, Balaclava, Elizbeth B., relict of the late William Edward King, aged 74 years. A resident of Port Melbourne for over 50 years.[1]
