Biography

Esther was born in 1927. Her parents were Harvey Landis and Ethel Zimmerman. Esther is still living.

Esther grew up in the Ybor City/Tampa area of Florida. Her mother passed away leaving 6 children, the youngest an infant. Her father remarried Hannah Lois Lauver. Esther attended Bridgewater College in Virginia, where she met her future husband, Emmert Foster Bittinger. They were married June 8, 1947, in Christiansburg, Virginia. [1]She has lived in VA and MD for most of the rest of her life, except during the years that her husband was attending seminary in Chicago, Ill.

Esther Mae Landis was born on March 19, 1927 in Tampa, Hillsborough, FL. She was living with her family there in 1930 -1949.[2][3][4] Esther married Emmert Foster Bittinger. on June 8, 1947 in Christiansburg, VA.[5] Emmert and Esther had three daughters, Lorraine A. Bittinger, Mildred Ruth and Marion Kay. [6]

Landis-1774 Esther (Landis) Bittinger
I am managing my mother Wikitree profile (with her permission). She is 95 years old and still living. Her profile is Landis-2101. However, I had previously created Landis-1774 in my WikiTree. Can I merge these two, for a living person? Do I need to do it from my mother's account, or my account, or does it matter. Thanks for your help for a novice in this all!
