DIED.
On Saturday last...
Same day, aged 71, Humble Lamb, Esq., of Ryton, one of her Majesty’s Justices of the Peace for the counties of Durham and Northumberland. The death of Mr Lamb was awfully sudden; he had just left Eldon Square to return home, and had only proceeded as far as Pilgrim Street, when he was attacked by apoplexy, and though he was immediately taken to the house of Mr Edgecombe, surgeon, where every assistance was rendered, it was unhappily without effect, life being quite extinct: the deceased was highly respected for his amiable disposition and universal benevolence, and his death is deeply lamented by his friends and all who knew him.
