Marie Rose de Lima LaBossiere was born at La Prairie on Nov. 12, 1844 and she was baptized there the next day. She was the second child of ten and the first daughter of three for Augustin Labossiere and Delphine Corriveau. She had one older half brother from her father's first marriage and three others had passed away young.

Marie Rose Labossiere may have married Andre Koralini some time before 1881. [Research Notes: The marriage record has not been found, but they are in the 1881 Canada census, living with Marie Rose's parents. Column 15 in the census record indicates they are married, and Andre is the"head" of the household and Marie Rose is listed next. No other records have been found for Andre Koralini. Marie Rose's second marriage record below, states she had been married before and was widowed.]

Marie moved to New Hampshire and married George Marquis at Ste Anne Church, Berlin, Coos, NH on Jan. 6, 1902. ^[5] It was the second marriage for both and both had been widowed. There were no children from Marie and George.

1910 U.S. Census New Hampshire, Coos, Berlin, Ward 2 ED 57 Sheet 20A Lines 43-45: George marquis, 61 - labourer mill yard; Delivia Marquis, 65; son, George Marquis, 20 - labourer planning mill. Strangely, George and Delivia (Delima) state this is their first marriage and they have been married 37 years so in 1873 - about the time of George's first marriage. Delima says she has had 12 children and seven have died. There were no children with her and Andre Koralini in the 1881 Canada Census and Delima Labossiere was then already 36 years old! ^[6] Census Date: April 25, 1910.

Delima (Delina) Labossiere - Marquis died at Berlin, NH on March 3, 1921 from stomach cancer. ^[7] She was 76 years old.

George Marquis died at Berlin, NH on May 20, 1830. ^[8] He was buried at Saint Anne Cemetery at Berlin, NH with his first wife, Georgiana Routhier.
