Biography

Jean Baptiste Laberge was born and baptized the same day 13 March 1787 in Châteauguay^[1]

there is notice of consanguinity with his wife on their marriage record, said marriage having taken place on 18 Nov 1811 in Châteauguay.^[2] The couple had 12 known children together, 2 of whom are known to die young and 6 to marry.^[3]

John Baptist Le Berge (sic), husband of Arcange Rufiange, of the parish of St-Joseph of Huntington, died on 15 August 1854 and was buried on the 20th in Ormstown, the record giving him 68 years of age.^[4] (English priest Edmond Doyle officiating)
