Maurice Joseph Labbe was born on November 3, 1926 in Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA. He was the son of Isadore Labbe and Yvonne Nault .
He resided in Dover, New Hampshire
Maurice was a Motor Machinist’s Mate 3C with the United States Naval Reserves during WWII.
He went Missing in Action on July 24, 1945 (aged 18) at Sea when the USS Underhill was sunk by a Japanese Kaiten manned torpedo.
