In Memoriam: James LaLone was an active and generous member of WikiTree. Their presence in our community will be missed. However, their many contributions will live on as part of our shared family tree. This is a gift they gave to family members, distant cousins, and future generations, and is now a permanent part of their legacy.
Biography
Basically interested in French-Canadian genealogy (have a page on GenealogyWise) and the hobby part of genealogy is researching /collecting Michigan Anishnawbe (Chippewa / Ojibwa, Ottawa /Odawa & Potawatomi) genealogies, there are also some families I collect all the male lines from the progeniture, such as HAGAMAN / HAGEMAN / etc., HANKINSON (Thomas & Jane/Jean line of NJ), LALONDE / LALANDE / LALONE, LeROY / LAROY/LARROWAY-AUDY, LILLIE / LILLEY / LILLY, MELOCHE and TREMBLAY / TROMBLY / etc. families
Forgot to mention - interested in the different TURNER families of Mass.
Also have a line extending back into European nobility & royality.

I've been working on improving profiles of the Cadottes of La Pointe. I saw you manage Apikigiokwe-1 (Madeline "Ikwewese" Cadotte) and have her as the daughter of Ojibway-5 (Chief Buffalo), though her profile and every record I've seen indicate that her father was Chief White Crane. I wanted to touch base with you to see if you had any sources that indicate otherwise before I remove her connection to Ojibway-5. I also believe Apikigiokwe-1 and her husband Cadotte-25 are duplicates of Cadotte-108 and Equaysayway-1, and plan to do a merge request once the profiles are cleaned up and sourced.

I was looking at your Hagerman research on GenealogyWise and have a question about Francis Hegeman (#98) and his family. Three of his daughters -- Susan, Elizabeth, and Hannah are listed as married to John Force. The same John Force? That seems weird. On creating free space page with all the documentation you found on the fur trade, suggest you link it to a number of places, including but not limited to Québécois project, Manitoba, and I don't know what else. Probably ask who wants in on it on G2G (projects that is).
It appears the biography for Kapeouapnokoue-1 is erroneous. In my opinion they are the SAME person as you said.

I removed Marie Louise Bourbonnais (Brunet-365) as the spouse from Jean Baptiste Lalonde (Lalonde-201).
Because she is the Wife of Jean-Baptiste Lalande (Lalande-68) married 8 Nov 1782 in Vaudreuil
There is ongoing discussion about the parents of Thomas Hankins, Quaker, who married Mary Clevenger and immigrated to Virginia. There are those that strongly believe he was also the son of Thomas Hankinson-236, but surely he didn't name two sons Thomas? I think he might be the son of Thomas' brother Richard.
If you could would you look at that profile and let me know where he falls in the tree I would appreciate it.
