Hello Russell,

i have just joined Wikkitree and saw the name Johann Friedrich Bruns, Missouri (presume Concordia), and have direct ancestor, August Bruns related to Johann Friedrich Bruns. Would like to know what direct tracings you have on that person going back. I have many going forward. August Bruns is my grandmother's father. Concordia history, then going back to Hamburg and Hannover in general. Not sure where your concentrations are, but if it is Bruns, would really appreciate hearing what you have gleaned and I will share what i have on that branch. Thank you, E. Schreiner

Hi Russell, I emailed you about Barbara (Whitehead) Weaver (1779-1872) back in March. Her maiden name was Glick, not Whitehead. Can you please update her maiden name? - Thank you!

Barbara's 4th great granddaughter - Shonda (Sayers-Howell) Feather

Hi Russell, thanks for posting yesterday. I’m very new here and glad to see my family getting some action. Samuel Henry Sterling is the husband of my 11th cousin twice removed.

I’m primarily focusing on the New England branches of my tree. My uncle has traced us back to William the Conqueror, and I to 11th c. Normandy. Excited to see what we can share. Best, Michael Sterling

Sorry for the delay in adding you to Shively trusted lists; I hadn't been on the site in awhile.

I apologize for all the merge requests, I was working some duplicate profile issues and it seems that you were impacted by the duplicates. Please make sure to always check closely for an existing profile when creating a new one. Thanks for all you do!

Kruse-1355 and Kruse-1471 appear to represent the same person because: I entered a duplicate not understanding the system yet on brother

Russell,

In my database of Buchanan descendants, there are many Williams, but none that lived in Oklahoma or married a Meyer. I suspect it is a different Buchanan family. Mine came from west of Omagh, in County Tyrone, Ireland in 1847 and settled in Perth County, Ontario, Canada. Some in later generations went to Michigan and to Washington State, but none to Oklahoma. Most came west in Canada during the westward expansion of settlement.

If you think it would help, please ask again to be added to my trusted list.
