He was born about 1724 in Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland, Nederland and his parents were Anna Maria (Weymart) and Christian Koenig.
He emigrated with his brothers Hans & Steffen on the ship "Muscliffe Galley" about 22 Dec 1744.[1]
Research Note
The ship list for the 1744 Muscliffe contains a Christian König and a Samuel König that appear to have been traveling together. It also contains a Jacob König that may have been part of a separate group. I do not see a Hans or Steffen. Jacob Konig appears to have purchased land in Tilden Twp. in 1748 (Warrant #86), so perhaps he was Christian's brother.[2] Evelyn V.
Samuel Koenig or King married about 1750 to Anna Elizabeth Yoder.
He was a farmer.
He died on 10 Jan 1777 in Cumru Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania, USA.
