Biography
William Henry Kitchen was born in about 1799 in Bishops Cleeve, Gloucestershire, and was christened there on 18 October 1799, the son of William Kitchen and Hannah (nee Stanton) Kitchen[1]
On 11 August 1822 William married Lucy Johnson in Winchcombe, Gloucestershire
At the time of the 1841 Census William and his wife Lucy are living in Bishop's Cleeve, Gloucestershire with their children William Henry, Charles, Mary, Joseph and James[2]
At the time of the 1851 Census William and his wife Lucy are living in Southam, Gloucestershire with their children William Henry, James and Lucy[3]
At the time of the 1861 Census William and his wife Lucy are living in Middle Street, Southam, Gloucestershire with their son James[4]
At the time of the 1871 Census William, now widowed, is living in Southam, Gloucestershire[5]
William Henry Kitchen of Woodmancote, Bishops Cleeve, Gloucestershire died on 4 February 1878[6]. His Will was proved by his son and Executor Charles Kitchen, tailor, of 51 South Moulton Street, Oxford Street, London, Middlesex[7]
