Sophronia was born on 5 June 1825 in St. Lawrence County, New York, United States.^[1]

Sophronia moved from New York state to Illinois sometime between 1844 (when her daughter Lucy was born in New York) and 1848 (when her daughter Martha was born in Illinois).^[2]

In 1850, Sophronia (age 24) was living with her husband and three children in Erin Township, Stephenson County, Illinois, United States.^[2]

In 1885, Suphrona (age 59) was living with her husband, her daughter, her son-in-law, and three grandchildren in Aldrich, Wadena County, Minnesota, United States.^[3]

Sophrina's daughter Emma Alice Eddy died of stomach cancer at age 57 on 9 October 1907 in Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington, United States.^[4]

In 1910, Saphronia (age 84) was living with her daughter's family in Tacoma Ward 1, Pierce County, Washington, United States.^[5]
