Biography

James Kinne was born in Preston, Connecticut, on October 14, 1703. He was the son of Thomas Kinne Jr. and Martha (Cox) Kinne.^[1]

He married Sarah Herrick in Preston, on "August ye last day 1726."^[2]

He married Mary Robbens in Voluntown, Connecticut, on September 28, 1750.^[3]

James died on November 5, 1776.^[4] He is buried in Old Kinne Cemetery, in Griswold (Voluntown), New London County, Connecticut, USA.^[5]

His tombstone reads:

In Memory of Deacn. James Kinne

who died Novr, 5th. AD. 1776,

in the 74th Year of his Age.
