Biography

John Jennings Kingman was born in 1882, in Omaha, Nebraska.^[1] He was the son of General Dan Christie Kingman and Eugenia Jennings.^[2]

John married Adelaide Warren (1887-1974)^[3] in 1906^[4] and they had two daughters:^[2]

1. Eugenia (Kingman) Murray, b. abt 1913 in Kentucky.
2. Ann Warren Kingman, b. abt 1927 in Wisconsin.

John Passed away in Washington, DC, in 1948.^[3] The death of General John J. Kingman at his home in Washington brought to its close a distinguished career in the Corps of Engineers of the Army and a private life of enviable happiness and attainment, as well.^[2]
