Biography

Katharine was born in 1916. She was the daughter of Gordon Kingman and Frances Wingate. ^{[1] [2] [3]}

She does not appear to have ever married or had children.

Katharine passed away in 2014 ^[4] and was buried at Buck Mountain Episcopal Church Cemetery in Earlysville, Virginia. ^[5]

Katharine M. Kingman died on Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at the Colonnades.

She was born in Washington, D.C., the daughter of Gordon M. and Frances W. Kingman. She is survived by one brother, Gordon M. Kingman of Charlottesville, and his two children, Matthew M. Kingman of Hong Kong, and Yvonne McGee of Hudson, New Hampshire. She is also survived by a niece, Renee Byrd of Afton, Tennessee;and a nephew, Donald Terrell of Boulder, Colorado. She was a member of Buck Mountain Episcopal Church, Earlysville, and a founding member of Buck Mountain Garden Club. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Buck Mountain Episcopal Church, Earlysville. Memorials in her name given to the Buck Mountain Episcopal Church and Buck Mountain Garden Club will be graciously accepted.
