Martha Kingman was presumably born around 1660 and near to Wells in Somerset, but no record of her birth has yet been found.

Martha married John Fry in 1683 at St Cuthbert, Wells ^[1]

Their children include John, Richard, William, Samuel and Anne.

Martha was living at Walcombe near Wells in 1743 when her will was written^[2] but was recorded as living at Wookey Hole when she died in 1745. She was buried at St Cuthbert's on 3 March 1745 (NS).^[3]
