Biography
Jane was born in 1818 in Roxbury. She is probably the daughter of Thomas Kingman and Betsey Perry.
Jane being daughter of Thomas and Betsey is consistent with all the facts, but there is so far no direct evidence for this assumption being correct.
In 1836 Jane Kingman married Joseph Cate in Boston [1]
In 1850 they were living in Portsmouth, New Hampshire where Joseph was a joiner [2]
