Biography

William T. Kingman was born between 1814 ^[1] and 1820.^[2]

William being son of Thomas and Betsey is consistent with all the facts, but there is so far no direct evidence for this assumption being correct.

William married Sarah P. Smith in 1842 in So. Boston MA. Children:^[3]

1. Sarah Louisa Kingman, b. 20 August 1847, So. Boston MA; m. George Thomas Staples 24 December 1868, Dorchester MA; d. 7 January 1915, Dedham MA.

His family has not yet been found on the 1850 census and in 1860 he was not present with his wife and daughter. Future records do not name his wife as being a widow, though her subsequent marriage in 1871 is noted as being her second.
