Biography

Samuel was baptised in early 1562 at Halifax, Yorkshire, the son of James Kinge.[1] All the baptisms between 13 February and 27 April are listed together with no individual dates. Samuel comes fairly early in the list so was probably baptised about late February.[2]

He married Grace Murgatroyd on 9 June 1589 at Halifax.[3] "Samuell Kinge & Grace Murgatroyd. Nupt 9 Junii"
