Her 1st marriage was to Manlove W. Scott on January 1, 1885 in Lawrence, Van Buren County, Michigan, USA. She was 18 years old and he was 45.

Her 2nd marriage was to widower Martin Lewis Artis on August 30, 1917 in Cass County, Michigan. She was 45 years old, a housekeeper and resided in Kalamazoo, Michigan and stated that she had been married once previously. Her parents' names were listed as unknown. The groom's parents were given as Mathew Artis and Rachel Mathews.
