Elmore was born in 1843. Elmore King ... He passed away in 1885. ^[1]

There seems to be some confusion over his first name. Some records, such as the 1850 census list him as Elmore while other records, such as the 1880 census list him as Elmer. Family history list him as being Elmore which is why I chose to list him as such.
