Harriet was born in 1815, the daughter of John King of Baltimore, Maryland. In 1837, when she was 22 years old, she became the second wife of Alpheus Hyatt of Washington, D.C.[1]
She passed away in 1901 and is buried at Congressional Cemetery in Washington, D.C.[2]
