Biography
Alpheus was born about 1794. In 1837, when he was 43 years old, he married his second wife, Harriet King. [1]
- "[Married] Yesterday, by the Rev. Mr. Everett, Mr. Alpheus Hyatt of Washington City to Miss Harriet Randolph, daughter of the late John King, of this city."
He passed away in 1865 and is buried at Congressional Cemetery in Washington, D.C.[2]
