The Times Recorder Zanesville, Ohio Arthur N. King Arthur Newton King, 62, of Adamsville, died at 10:57 p.m. Monday (July4) at Bethesda Hospital after a 10 - month illness. He had been a patient |.since July, 4th An automobile mechanic, he was born near Ellis Station on Dec. 23, 1903, a son of C. W.-and Viola King Hamill. He operated a garage at Adamsville since 1946, and had spent most of his life in the Adams- Surviving are his widow the former Lola Gertrude Wickham; his mother, of Adamsville; three sons, Gene of Uniontown, Ky .,Dalton of : Cleveland and John of Adamsville; a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Joye) Wisecarver of Adamsville; three brothers, Charles of Adamsville route 1, Harold of Dresden, and Gerald of Dresden Route 1; seven sisters, Mrs. Charles (Edith) Brunk of Bryte, Calif., Mrs. Guy (Ethel) Lapp of Coshocton, Mrs. William [(Esther) Hogue of 461 Sheridan street, Zanesville, Mrs. Emery(Alice) Wortman of Adamsville, Mrs. Chalmer (Hazel) Wise-carver of Dresden Route 1, Mrs. Dale (Bernice) Lane ,of Adamsville Route 1, and Mrs. Lawrence (Luella) Rice of New Concord; and five grandchildren. AI sister is deceased. .The body is at Shirer and Son Funeral Home in Adamsville where friends may call 2 to 4Jand 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. It will be removed to Adamsville Methodist Church at noon Thursday. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. by Rev. Helen Groves. Burial will following the Adamsville Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers are Clyde Russell, Albert Hanks, Herbert Thompson, Richard Williams, Millard Greene and Floyd Leasure.
