The Times Recorder September 19,1974 Wisecarver DRESDEN-----Mrs. Hazel Melissa Wisecarver.65, of First Street, Dresden, died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in Bethesda Hospital where shewas admitted a short time earlier- she had been in failing health for about six months. She was bom December 18,1908 near Adams Mills.. She had lived in the Dresden area for 30 years. Survivors include her husband, Chalmer Champion Wisecarver whom she married March 30,1829; three sons Lester and William of Dresden, Edwin of Zanesville; four daughters, Mrs. Frances Fell of Zanesville, Mrs. Helen Jennings of Columbus, Mrs. Mary Hamey of Blue Rock, and Mrs.. Donna Longfellow of Nashport Route 1; three brothers, Charles King of Adamsville, Harold and Oerald King of Dresden; six sisters; Mrs. Ethel Lapp of Coshocton Mrs. Ester Hogue of Zanesville, Mrs. Edith Brunk of Brodie California. Mrs. Alice Wortman of Adamsville, Mrs. Luella Rice of New Concord and Mrs. Bemice Lane of Oakwood North; 21 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Shirer and Son Funeral Home in Adamsville, where services will be held at 1p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery.
