Ernest was born in Masham, 25 July 1919. Lived in Whitby, Yorkshire, then in York, where he died, 1989 married to Winifred Long, whom he met when she worked briefly with British Railways (clerical) Was a coach trimmer (upholsterer) with British Railways Died in York, 1989 ^[1]
