Annis Arwilla King Parker, of Pinellas Park, Florida, died Monday, 27 July 1961. She was 79 years old.
Born 16 Nov 1901 in Hahira, Georgia, Annis was the second child born to Asa Newsom King and Martha Jane Johnson. On 3 Aug 1919, she married Noah William Parker in Hahira. Together, she and Noah had two sons and three daughters. She moved to Pinellas Park in 1979 from Fort Lauderdale, where she lived for 50 years. Annis was a retired seamstress.
Annis is survived by her two sons, Jerard L. Parker, Fort Lauderdale, and Lester E. Parker, Pinellas Park and her three daughters, Ferris Grimes, Atlanta; Alma Jean Cannon, Texes, and Dorris Paradiso, Fort Lauderdale. She will also be missed by her two brothers, Eddie King, Oakland Park, and J. Kenneth King, Davie; and her two sisters, Opal Riley and Mildred Burke of Fort Lauderdale; and her 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
