Biography

Ollie was born in 1879.

She married Marshall Green Willard in 1895.

from South-Missourian Democrat (Alton, Mo), Oct 16, 1941:
"Mrs. Ollie Willard of Rover spent last week visiting her daughter, Mrs. Ray Holmes of south of Alton. They visited last Thursday at the home of Mrs. Jim Shehorn."

Marsh died in 1937

obit from West Plains Daily Quill, Mon., March 27, 1944:
"Mrs. Ollie Willard Dies of Pneumonia --
Former Oregon County woman succumbs at home here Saturday afternoon. Funeral arrangement incomplete.
Mrs. Ollie Willard, 64, widow of the late N.G.(sic) Willard of Rover, is Oregon County, died Saturday afternoon at her home on Lincoln Avenue here, following an illness of less than one week from attack of pneumonia. Mrs. Willard, who was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William King, pioneer residents of Oregon County, was born in Oregon County, September 20, 1879.
She was married 50 years ago to Mr. Willard, and they settled on a farm near Rover, where she had continued to live until six months ago, when she moved to West Plains. Mr. Willard died at the family home seven years ago.
Surviving are seven sons and daughters who are Claude, Hugh and Othel Willard of Koshkonong; Emmett Willard of Hanford, Wash.; Mrs. Roy Holmes of Alton, and Miss Viola Willard, of the family home. One son and one daughter preceded Mrs. Willard in death. She also is survived by 11 grandchildren and four sisters, Mrs. Mary Willard, Mrs. Leona Beach, Mrs. Elmer Sams of West Plains, and Mrs. John Judd of Rover.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete awaiting messages concerning the arrival of the son in Washington, who is on his way here. However, burial will be in Jolliff cemetery, it was announced.
Funeral and burial arrangements are in charge of the Paige Robertsons of the Robertson Funeral Home."
