Gerald Hammond King was born on July 2, 1899 in Chipman, Queens, New Brunswick, Canada, son of George Herbert King (1870–1927) and Laura May Briggs (1874–1948).

Gerald had a sister, Vera Nellie King (1896– ).

In 1901, Gerald H (2) was in the household of Laura M King in Sunbury & Queens, New Brunswick. [1]

In 1911, Gerald (12) was in the household of George G King. [2]

In 1921, Gerald (21), was a single son, Tally Man, in the household of George H King (50) at 99 Chipman, Royal (Counties of Kings and Queens), Chipman, New Brunswick, Canada. [3]

Gerald (22) married Mildred Margaret Greene (20) (born on August 26, 1901 in Fredericton, York, New Brunswick; daughter of Jesse F. Green and Sarah Jane (Pomphrey) Green) on June 28, 1922.[4]

Gerald (29) married Mary Gordon Henderson (27) (born on September 15, 1901 in Westville, Pictou, Nova Scotia, Canada) on February 28, 1929 in Saint John, St. John, New Brunswick.[5]

Gerald died on February 24, 1967 in Minto, Sunbury, New Brunswick, aged 67. He was buried in Second Chipman United Baptist Church Cemetery, Chipman, Queens County, New Brunswick.[6] [7]
