Robert was born in 1856 in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland, the son of James Rusk King and Margaret Allen.
He came from Scotland to Oregon in 1876.
Occupation: painter, car shops.
He married Anna Maude Cruise (1866–1911). They had the following children:
James Robert King (1892–1976).
Edwin William King (1894–1929).
He passed away in 1933.
