The late Mr. Frederick King, who died at Gidleigh, Aslifleld, during the last week, was formerly a settler near Bungendore, and a neighbor of the late Captain Louch and Mr. N. S. Powell.
Mr. King was a son of Admiral King, and grandson of the Governor of New South Wales of that name. After leaving the country the deceased was manager of the Government asylums for the infirm and destitute, and was pensioned in 1887.
