Biography

John was born in 1806, son of Robert and Bridget (Morgan) King.

John married Harriet Diana Walter in 1829 at New Malburow, Massachusetts. They had six children:^[1]

1. Catherine (b-1830)
2. Jane (b-1833) married Hill
3. Harriet (b-1836) married Hill
4. Robert Heman (b-1838)
5. Caroline (b-1842) married Cole
6. John Harvey (b-1845)

In 1846, John and family moved from Massachusetts to Russell, Geauga county, Ohio. In 1866, they moved to Michigan.^[2]

He passed away in 1881 of chronic inflammation of the kidneys at Kingston, Michigan.^[3]
