According to the 1920 Census, John Henry King was living in Haralson County, Georgia with his wife, Viola Smith King, and children. He was working as a farmer on a general farm.
On the 1930 Census, John Henry King was living in Buncombe, Haralson County, Georgia with his wife, Viola, and their children. He was a farmer.
According to the 1940 Census, John Henry King was living in Haralson County, Georgia with his wife, Viola Smith King, and two of their children. He still worked as a farmer.
He died on August 27, 1953 in Georgia. He was buried at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, Tallapoosa, Haralson County, Georgia, USA.
