She married Richard Shaw in 1742, his intention to marry her found in a Southold Town record:[1][2]
I, Richard Shaw of Southold, yeoman, for and in consideration of that respect, good will, love and affection that I have and do bare to Abigail King single woman of the same Town, whom I intend to make my dearly and well beloved wife, do by these presents give grant convey and make over unto her the sd Abigail King a certain messuage or tenement, situate in a place called the Oysterponds, containing one quarter of an acre, bounded by the harbour as ye Record will appear."
