The dates indicated in the Memorial are possibly for her spouse, unclear if these pertain to Rachel.

Rachel was born in 1790. She passed away in 1828.

Rachel was born about 1790. She married Jacob Boone on September 2, 1807 in Franklin County, Virginia.^[1][2] She is linked to eight children on Find-a-Grave but it should be noted that the record of death for Jacob's son - Andrew William Boone also lists her as his mother:

She passed away about 1828-1831 in Franklin County, Virginia. Records indicate that Andrew William Boone is her son and that he was born in 1830; but it should be noted that her Find-a-Grave Memorial (as per her tombstone) indicates that she passed away in 1828 and is buried in Boone Cemetery in Callaway, Franklin County, Virginia^[7] so either the date of birth for Andrew is incorrect or her tombstone is incorrect. Jacob did not marry Barbara until 1832.
