Hello! I have completed my undergraduate degree in history and use those skills to help wth my family research. I have a huge passion for genealogy and love to add new information and sources to profiles. I especially love creating new profiles to add to our amazing public tree!
If you are the descendent of a profile I manage that I am not also a descendent of, and you would like to manage it, please feel free to message me and I will add you. If a profile is already listed as open however, anyone can view the full profile and any member who has signed the Wiki Genealogist Honor Code can edit it so you do not need any privileges.

During the winter, the Nordic Project performed check-ins, sent as a private message from your profile. You are one of those members who has not replied, and this is a last chance to get in touch and let me know if you like to continue as member in the Nordic Project.
Please answer this comment, and get in touch by sending me a private message. If we have not heard from you within a month you will be removed from the Nordic google group and your badge will be removed.
If you have not received any check-in emails, you might want to check that your email address for WikiTree is one you actually still use.
Thank you!

One of our mentors created a tutorial for the GEDCOMpare process that others found very helpful. I hope that you will too.

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus. Review the project pages for special guidelines and to learn how to collaborate with the project members.
Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.
Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles you manage, or edit. (See:https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles#Cite_reliable_sources).

As you have been a member of WikiTree for a few weeks now, I thought I would check in to see how you are getting on with the site.
Has the New Member How-To been helpful, or left you with any questions?
I am here to help with any problems or queries you may have. To contact me, be sure to use the "reply" link below this comment so that I will be notified. You can also click my name to send a private message, or post a comment, on my profile page.
Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

PS Have you noticed that WikiTree adds a link to you and your DNA tests on the profiles of your ancestors and their descendants? It normally takes 24 hours. For more information on DNA, see Getting Started with DNA FAQ.
I am pleased to confirm you as a member, and welcome you to the WikiTree family, your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together. I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do.
I would suggest starting with the How-to pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration.
I am here to answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Please add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site
Happy tree climbing
