Biography
Therese Victoire Lafreniere was born 30 Dec 1772 and baptized the same day in the parish of Saint-François-du-Lac, Saint-François-du-Lac, Province de Québec. She was the daughter of Francois Lafreniere and Marie Therese Josephte Fournel. [1]
Joachim Ritchot, son of Joachim Ritchot and the late Charlotte Couturier, and Therese Victoire Joyel, daughter of François Joyel dit Lafreniere and Therese Fournel, were married 11 Feb 1793 in the parish of Saint-Michel-d'Yamaska, Saint-Michel-d'Yamaska, Bas-Canada. [2]
Victoire Joyalle, wife of Joachim Ritechot and of the age of fifty-eight years, died 2 Nov 1830 and was buried the following day in the cemetery of Saint-Michel-d'Yamaska, Saint-Michel-d'Yamaska, Bas-Canada. Present at the burial were Pierre Lisotte and Jean Lisotte. [3]
