Samuel Peter Jones was the son of Mary Ellen Spencer and Thomas Jefferson Jones. He was born 11 June 1892.[1]
On Feb. 20, 1909, he married Rubye Smith in St. Louis County, Missouri. Samuel was 17 and Rubye was 16.[2]
Samuel died in Anna State Hospital on 14 January 1950 in Anna, Illinois. He was buried in Arrington Prairie Cemetery in Berry Township, Wayne County, IL.[1]
