Funeral Services For A. E. Jones Held Wednesday Adolphus Eddie Jones, 72, who died Sunday in the Merced Mercy hospital after a three weeks illness was buried Wednesday in the Winton Cemetery with Rev. R. C. Fulmer officiating. Mr. Jones, who was born in Stockton, lived almost all of his life here in Atwater. Relatives who survive are his widow, Mrs. Janet Jones of Atwater; a son, Everett A. Jones of Venice; daughters, Mrs. Eldora Eccles of Merced; Mrs. Ella Davison of Clovis; Miss Margaret Jones, also ai Clovis; brothers, John r. Jones of Providence, Ky., Clyde V. Jones of Le Grand, Edward H. Jones of Winton, and a sister, Mrs. Lorena Donovan of Hayward. Services were held at the Hann Brothers Mortuary in Merced.

Adolphus was born in 1875. He passed away in 1948.
