Fresno Bee Republican, The | Fresno, California | Wednesday, November 21, 1956 WOMAN, 75, IS HURT IN CRASH Mrs. Ella Agnes Jones, 75, of 1849 West Clinton Avenue was injured at 5:10 PM yesterday when the automobile she was driving was involved in a collision with a truck operated by Archie Warren Johnson of Visalia at the Golden State Highway and Shaw Avenue. Mrs. Jones was transferred to the Fresno Community Hospital after being treated in the Fresno County General Hospital.

Fresno Bee | Fresno, California | Monday, April 10, 1967 FORMER FRESNAN'S DAUGHTER'S RITES ARE CONDUCTED Joint memorial services for Mrs. Ella Agnes Jones, 86, and her daughter, Mrs. Ella Agnes Davison, both former Fresnans, were held this past weekend in Santa Cruz. Mrs. Jones died on Thursday, her daughter on Tuesday. Mrs. Jones was born on a ranch along the San Joaquin River near Herndon. She and her late husband, Dolf Jones, farmed for a number of years in the Trigo district in Madera County. Mrs. Jones lived in Fresno before moving to Santa Cruz five years ago. She was a member of the Fresno Parlor, native Daughters of the Golden West. Her survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Eldora Davis and Margaret Jones of Santa Cruz; a son, Everett Jones of Los Angeles; two brothers, Ralph Jones of Fresno and Bert Jones of Palo Alto; a sister, Mrs. Callie Kast of Manhattan Beach; five grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Mrs. Davison, a native of Madera County, had lived in Santa Cruz the past two years. She and her husband, the late Simm Davison, farmed in the Fig Garden area for many years.

Ella was born in 1881. She was the daughter of Robert Jones and Maggie McCabe. She passed away in 1967.
