Mary (Jenkins) Simmons is a part of US Black heritage.
Mary was born around 1904 in South Carolina.
Mary married Frank Simmons. In 1930 they were living in Eutaw, South Carolina with 4 children.
In 1950 Frank and Mary were still in Eutaw with 10 children, grandchildren, and more in their household.[1]
Mary was widowed prior to her son George's death in 1980. She was mentioned as George's surviving mother in his obituary.[2]
She appears to have passed away in 1983. Her last recorded residence with Social Security was in Pineville, South Carolina.[3]
