Biography

Biagio Jannazzo is born 31 July 1878 and baptized on 3 August, named after his paternal grandfather. He is the son of Stefano Jannazzo and Maria Domenica Colletto. His godparents are Don Gioachino Provenzano, represented by the procurator Salvatore Sangiorgi, from Palermo, and Donna Marietta Provenzano, Don Gioachino's daughter.^[1]

Biagio marries Giuseppa Lisotta, daughter of Liborio Lisotta and Maria Carmela Governali, on 26 April 1911.^[2]

Biagio and Giuseppa have at least two children, Stefano (c. 1912) and Salvatore (c. 1913).

I estimate that Stefano, named after his paternal grandfather, is born the year after his parents marry.

I estimate Salvatore is born around 1913, the same year as his wife.

Stefano marries Angela Jannazzo on 9 February 1946. Biagio and Giuseppa have died by this time.^[3]

Salvatore marries Giovanna Taverna on 20 February 1946.^[4]
