Biography

William R. Jackson was born on May 11, 1833 in London, Kentucky.[1] He was the son of William Jackson and Lydia Brock.[1][2] Before 1860, William had moved to Grundy County, Missouri, where he is found on the 1860 census, farming.[3]

William (of Grundy County) married Julia Williams on March 29, 1864 in Platte County, Missouri.[4] They had at least 7 children.[5][6]

After Julia died, William continued to live in Grundy County with several of his children.[9] He died on March 27, 1910[1] and is buried in North Union Cemetery, Liberty Township (Grundy County), Missouri.[10]

Birth date on the FindAGrave memorial is Jun 11, no year, no sources.[10]
The FamilySearch tree for Julia Williams and William Jackson has another daughter, Ann Caroline Jackson, who was born in 1868, but the sources associated with her give Ann's birth place as Ohio. Since she does not appear in any census information with his family, this is a highly doubtful connection.[11]
