Biography
Kate was born in 28 February 1873. Thames-Coromandel District, Waikato, New Zealand. She was the daughter of Frederick Jackson and Eliza [Harper] Jackson. Kate's siblings were: Ada Emma, Frederick, Eliza, Lily, Harry, May, George, Pearl and Frank
She married William Thomas King in 1898.
They had at least six children:

- Doris Lillian King 1902 - 1977
- Trevor William King 1907
- Elsie Myrtle King 1909
- George Raymond King 1911-1944
Her husband William died in 1919 at the age of 49.
