Samuel was baptised on 26 December 1737, Kenwyn, Cornwall child of Samuel.[1]
Samuel married Agnes Husband (from the neighbouring parish of Kea) on May 11, 1761 in his home parish of Kenwyn, Cornwall, England.[2][3][4]
The couple settled in the bride’s parish of Kea and had at least five children. Unfortunately, like his parents, only one of his children is known to have survived into adulthood.:
Jane Jackah (1764 - 1764) born in Kea and died as an infant
William Jacka (1767 - 1768) born in Kea and died as an infant

Research Notes
Death of Samuel - The death of Samuel Jacka would have been after 1772, when his last child was conceived. His wife died in 1808 but no mention was made in her burial records if she was a widow or not when she died. The most likely death for Samuel is on 23 March 1791 as the entry is denoted that he was Snr which is consistent with his son Samuel still being alive in 1791
Establishing the family connections - All of Samuel's children were born while Samuel and his wife were residing in Kea. The closest births to a Samuel before this baptised his first child Jane was born in either Kenwyn or Kea was 1740 so far too early for this couple, and after their last child was baptised, Benjamin, the next child born to a Samuel was baptised to a Samuel (his son) & Margaret baptised in 1790, far too late to be a couple of this Samuel and Agnus.
Confirming his parents – Samuel is mentioned in the administration of his father's estate after he died, as was his mother, Margaret.[6] See Samuel Jacka's profile for more detail.
Descendants - It appears that only one child lived to get married and have children Samuel Jack who was baptised on 29 November 1767 in Kea, Cornwall, England and buried on 5 January 1855 in Chacewater, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom
