Samuel was born on 30 June 1792 in Kentucky. He was the son of John Jack and Mary (Mason) Jack. He married Rosanna Hampton, was an Indiana legislator, and Switzerland County Justice of Peace. Samuel passed away at the age of 41 on 30 March 1834 and was buried at Jack Cemetery, Switzerland County, Indiana. [1]
