The 1851 shows that Janet Mcintosh was an agricultural labourer living in Dungarthill Cottage, Caputh, Perthshire with her daughter Mary Jane, son Alex and grandson James Cattanach. [4]
Janet Mcintosh, age 78 (born about 1793) lived at Dalkea The Cottage in Caputh, Perthshire. She was an annuitant. [5]
Janet died 20 Jan 1874 at Stanley Fues, Auchtergaven, Scotland.

A memorial was erected erected by William McIntosh in memory of various family members in Caputh Cemetery in Caputh, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. It included Janet Jack McIntosh who was born 4 Mar 1793 in Alyth and died 2 Jan 1874 (aged 80) Inscription:
1874 erected by William McIntosh in memory of his father DANIEL McINTOSH died 9th January 1850 Aged 58 years also his mother JANET JACK died 20th January 1874 aged 83years also his daughter MARGARET McINTOSH died 1st February 1886 aged 23 years also his wife MARGAERT SLATER died 3rd August 1893 aged 69 years. The above Wm McINTOSH who died on 19th Dec 1902 aged 75 years [7]
