Research Notes

I "adopted" a lot of this family, and it helps me stay organized to build a tree when there are this many people, so I have a tree for them at Ancestry. Today I keep hitting the same problem - Elizabeth Layswell shows up everywhere as Louisa Olive's Mother. Not in any primary documents yet, no Mother is - but at Find A Grave, at people who have photos of Louisa at Ancestry (yes, I know that's still not proof :) If it were, I wouldn't have a growing problem)

There are, oddly, no marriage dates on records of William Ashfield Hunt and marriage to Lucinda and marriage to Elizabeth. Both have locations, but no dates. They are also not original docs, not what I've seen so far. While I appreciate so, so much the ppl who transcribe records, it's good to keep in mind that no matter how careful we are, we're humans, we are fallible. Mistakes happen. Right now, my mystery and concern is being absolutely sure who Louisa's Mother is.

DNA matches are a hope. Was William Hunt definitely married twice, if yes are children in the right place... if any family drop by, I would love your help. Specifically descendants of the children of William Ashfield Hunt. Thank you!!
