Edgar was born in 1893. He was the son of Robert Hunt and Ella King. He passed away in 1918, and was buried at Tannehill Cemetery, Arkansas City, Cowley County, Kansas.^[1]

Died Of Influenza

Senator L.P. King, president of the Progressive State Bank, received word last night of the death of his nephew, Edgar Hunt, who died at nine o'clock at his home near Hackney. His death was caused from influenza.

Mr. Hunt was one of Cowley county's prosperous young farmers and his untimely death will be a shock to his many friends. He was married early last fall to Miss Rose Upton, who with his father, R.P. Hunt, two brothers, Walter and Leslie Hunt, all of Hackney and sister Mrs. Etta Waltz of Arkansas City, survive.
